Avoid catastrophe by separating Email (s) from your Website Hosting

I know some of you don’t want to hear me say it, but please avoid catastrophe by keeping emails separate from your web hosting. Avoid complete shut down when your server fails.  Meaning your email (s) will shut down too, if hosted with your website.

Why?

Because if something happens to your web server, and IP address which sometimes it’s shared by a hundred of others, you have more chances in getting blocked and flagged as spam.  If you or someone else gotten hacked then your emails will also go down.  It is critical that your emails work 24/7 and if one or all your emails go down then it can cost you time and more money to fix it. 

If you don’t have time to do it right the first time, when will you have time to do it over, and over again, and spend more money to fix it?

Plus, using your website hosting for your email (s) will take up disc space that your website could be used.  Believe me it has happened to me on one of my websites it got hacked.  I had to shut it down.

Yes, you will save money, but in the long run you will spend more money fixing it.

Keep your web hosting separated from your email (s).
